club lounge
Members and friends enjoy Club Lounge!
The fully renovated Club Lounge aims to be the first choice for members when looking for a relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere to gather latest information, impress clients, or network with colleagues and friends, over lunch or at the end of the working day.
The new first floor layout offers an extended array of comfortable and discreet lounge settings for groups of various sizes to meet, drink, dine and talk.
A piano bar will feature in the Club Lounge, but in a way that will complement discussion rather than compete with it.
If you wish to do business, catch up on the latest news, enjoy a glass of fine wine, a cocktail, dine on award-winning food, engage in robust debate or simply relax with friends, then join us at the Club Lounge.
We look forward to welcoming you to your new Club Lounge. Click here to see our "politically incorrect" cocktails or our tempting tapas!
New features of the Club Lounge include:
- A sophisticated décor that is welcoming and relaxed and conducive to both business and social interaction
- Improved beverage selection from imported ales to international cocktails along with our affordable tap beer and house wines
- The introduction of a tapas-influenced menu
- The introduction of afternoon tea
- Free parking for members
A limited release of 200 social memberships will be offered to the public for the first time to mark the opening of the new Club Lounge. Membership of the club is open to all – not just to journalists – who are interested in public affairs and has long been referred to as the “thinking person’s social venue”.
The new social membership category is open to new members and provides access to Club Lounge and the award- winning Column restaurant. Social membership is affordably priced at $75 per year and offered for a limited time only. Please email npc@npc.org.au if you are interested in social membership.
