Themed around transformation, this address will explore the opportunities and challenges facing Australia’s governments to deal with key national challenges like mounting urban congestion in the face of a rapidly growing population.

In particular, this speech will discuss the role that pricing and funding reforms must play if Australia is going to deal effectively with its current and growing shortfall of infrastructure. The address will also explore the options that exist to deliver transformational projects, like inter urban High Speed Rail, and modern ‘Metro’ style rail networks in our major cities.
