David is the Chief Executive Officer of Australian Rail Track Corporation Limited. 

David was appointed Chief Executive Officer in June 1998.  Prior to this appointment, David has held a range of positions in utility groups and government agencies.

The appointments included:

• Managing Director, Australian Water Technologies Pty Ltd;
• Group General Manager, Sydney Water Corporation Ltd;
• Senior Vice President (Project Development), PG&E Corporation, Australasia;
• Deputy Director-General, NSW Department of Community Services.

Linfox has grown from humble beginnings to become the largest privately owned supply chain solutions company in the Asia Pacific region. Lindsay Fox began his business in Melbourne in 1956 with one truck, delivering soft drinks in the summer months and fuel in winter.

Today the massive Linfox Logistics business operates more than 1.8 million square metres of warehousing and nearly 5,000 vehicles across 11 countries. More than 15,000 people deliver sophisticated supply chain services to a wide range of leading business names.

Across the Asia Pacific region, Linfox Logistics provides logistics services to the world’s largest miner, delivers more than 4.5 billion litres of fuels, more than 15 million pallets of goods to retailers and serves nine of the region’s top ten Fast Moving Consumer Goods producers.

Lindsay Fox maintains a keen interest in the business he built over 50 years. The son of a truck driver, Lindsay left school at the age of 16 and bought his first truck when he was 19. Today, Linfox is one of the largest Australian-based transport and warehousing groups with operations in 11 countries.

Since starting out nearly a century ago, Woolworths has changed the face of Australian retailing.  Beginning as a single basement store in Sydney, Woolworths now has a shopping centre in almost every metropolitan and regional centre of Australia. Every day, offering fresh food to millions of customers nationwide. 

Geoff is currently the General Manager, Logistics at Woolworths Limited. Geoff reports to the Woolworths CEO and is a member of the Woolworths Senior Management Group.

As the GM Logistics, Geoff is responsible for the strategic and operational agenda for all facets of the company’s extensive supply chain that supports around 2,000 Supermarkets and Liquor stores across Australia and New Zealand.  In addition the Logistics division also manages the companies sourcing offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Geoff joined Woolworths in 2003 and has been a senior member of the Logistics executive team for the past 5 years, including National Transport Manager and Design Manager in the Mercury Program.
