FOXTEL's CEO Kim Williams will talk about the significant policy, technology and entertainment changes in media in 2009 and beyond.

2009 promises to be a significant year for policy evolution, technological advancements and changes to consumer habits: the (FTA) terrestrial networks will be able to launch new digital television channels, the winner of the Government's broadband tender will start rolling out a new national broadband network,  the Government will review restrictive legislation governing the broadcasting of sport,  the Government will start the closure of the analogue television network in 2010  and, finally, FOXTEL will launch even more new high definition and standard definition channels, interactive television service, mobile television and broadband services.
