Simon Crean has been handed the big, new role of Minister for Regional Australia, Regional Development and Local Government as well as Arts in the minority Gillard Government. Mr Crean, who has more than 20 years experience in Federal politics, will outline his plan to give a voice to local communities and re-invigorate regional Australia.
