The Hon Tanya Plibersek MP V's The Hon Dr Sharman Stone MP

April 28, 2010

Federal Women's Minister Tanya Plibersek and Shadow Minister Sharman Stone address the National Press Club in a headline debate on what Labor and the Coalition will offer women at this year's election.

The contest for the women's vote promises to be an energetic one. Both major parties are now promising action on paid parental leave, and pressure is mounting in parliament for action to improve the pay gap between women and men. The impact on women of other policies will also be a source of intense partisan debate.

Please join us to hear directly from these two senior female politicians, as we put their respective women's policies under the spotlight.
