Bill Morrow was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of NBN in December 2013. He joined the company in April 2014 with a remit to ensure all homes, businesses and communities across Australia can have access to high speed broadband as soon as possible, at affordable prices and at least cost to taxpayers. Under Morrow, the NBN has become available to more than one million premises, with the Company’s goal to connect eight million homes and businesses by 2020.

Mr Morrow’s career spans senior leadership positions at major telecommunications companies and public utilities worldwide, and the building of large scale telecommunications networks.

Prior to his current role, he served as CEO of Vodafone Hutchison Australia, and Clearwire Corporation and Pacific Gas & Electric Co. in the United States.

Previously he was CEO of Vodafone’s Europe region through Vodafone Group PLC and ran the group’s businesses in Japan and the UK.

A Californian now settled in Australia, Mr. Morrow holds an Associate of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Condie College and a B.A. in Business Administration from National University in San Diego.
