Dr Aalt Dijkhuizen until mid-2014 was the President and Chairman of Wageningen University in the Netherlands, the number one ranked university in Agriculture globally. He is an industry leader with extensive international experience. Dr Dijkhuizen has worked in animal health economics, feed and food manufacturing and food safety. Dr Dijkhuizen serves on several international boards,

He is the ambassador for food ingredients and horticulture for the Dutch Government, a Personal Advisor to the Governor of Fujian Province (China), a Member of the Science and Innovation Advisory Council of the Prime minster of Malaysia and Program Director of the European Food and Agribusiness Seminar (EFAS) conducted with the Harvard Business School.

In 2014 Dr Dijkhuizen became President of the Dutch Topsector Agri&food, a collaboration and innovation network between government, private industry and universities/research institutes. More recently, he established the Holland Centre in Shanghai to support Dutch Agri&Food companies doing business in China.
