Julian Leeser MP, the Shadow Attorney-General and the Shadow Minister for Indigenous Australians will Address the National Press Club of Australia on 'The Voice and the Road Ahead'.


Julian Leeser MP is the Shadow Attorney-General and the Shadow Minister for Indigenous Australians. He has a long involvement in constitutional issues including as a delegate to the 1998 Constitutional Convention and as a co-founder of Uphold and Recognise which is committed to upholding the Constitution and the substantive recognition of Indigenous Australians.

Later this year Australians will be asked to vote on a referendum enshrining an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice in the Constitution.

Julian Leeser will speak on the role that local and regional voices can play in improving Indigenous education, health, housing and nutrition, safety and economic advancement, as well as the challenges that remain on the path to a referendum.
