Almost two decades ago, she began working in the NT with the goal of narrowing the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
In 2015, she was elected to the Alice Springs Town Council, where she focused on improving the lives of Indigenous children and addressing community challenges, such as domestic violence. More recently, she has served as the Indigenous program director at the Centre for Independent Studies and appears regularly as a commentator on Sky News.
