Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price, Shadow Minister for Indigenous Australians & Senator for the Northern Territory, will Address the National Press Club of Australia. 

Due to National Room renovations this Address will be hosted in the Situation Room, Level 1 Theatre Style seating with Canapes & Beverages served in the Club Lounge prior to Address commencement.


Jacinta Nampijinpa Price, the Senator representing the Northern Territory and former deputy mayor of Alice Springs, has been engaging with the left for many years. Almost two decades ago, she began working in the NT with the goal of narrowing the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.

In 2015, she was elected to the Alice Springs Town Council, where she focused on improving the lives of Indigenous children and addressing community challenges, such as domestic violence. More recently, she has served as the Indigenous program director at the Centre for Independent Studies and appears regularly as a commentator on Sky News.
